About This Position

Position Description: Field Service Technician
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead installation and technical commissioning of charging solutions and battery storage systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical charging infrastructure with precision using advanced tools and techniques, from computer diagnostics to basic electrical repairs
  • Perform the on-site service, error analysis and troubleshooting of the devices
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment? Conduct maintenance and repair of battery storage systems and charging solutions across your assigned region
  • Assess and create effective plans for field operations to act on our charging and battery storage systems
  • Initiate and perform technical consultations on the integration of charging solutions and battery storage systems
  • Proactively offer clients additional services, including service agreements, preventative maintenance plans, and other revenue-generating items
  • Ensure technical functionality of our exhibits on site at events, presentations, training courses, etc.
  • Stay ahead in your field with ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Experience in EVSE Services a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of related electric vehicle and/or charging station experience
  • Familiar with High Voltage system development and vehicle integration
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and analysis tools a plus
  • Excellent level Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ticketing and Reporting systems experience
  • Communication skills, oral and written presentation skills
  • Structured, and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience as a Field Technician Required
  • Extensive travel required
