Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our busy pain management clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to work with this progressive pain interventional pain management group. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with Interventional pain procedures (epidural steroid injections, nerve root blocks, Facet/Medial Branch Blocks, radiofrequency Ablations, and other associated interventional pain management procedures), medication preparations and order verification for procedures requiring moderate sedation, sterile procedures such as Spinal Cord Stimulators Trials, Kyphoplasty, Discograms, obtaining appropriate anti-coagulations clearance, post-procedure follow-up calls, pre/recovery assessment, prep and monitoring, as well as any other duties assigned. Preference will be given to the RN with ACLS training, experience in the ICU/OR and with moderate sedation. However, the right candidate who demonstrates the willingness to learn, self-directed and has demonstrated above average clinical skills would also be considered. Hours Monday thru Thursday 7:15am to 5:00 pm Fridays 7:15 to 12 pm. Candidates must be available to come in as early as 6:00am on assigned morning draw- up shifts.

Candidates must be able to travel between both Bossier and Pierremont offices.
