Job Summary: The Manager of Learning & Development is responsible for overseeing staff training and development throughout the organization, collaborating with all departments to ensure staff are properly trained throughout the employee life cycle.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs across departments and develop strategies to address training gaps
- Design, develop, implement, and track training plans to ensure staff are up to date on required trainings
- Research and recommend training programs, contacting providers and registering staff
- Create training materials and processes
- Communicate process changes to team and work to ensure processes are followed
- Conduct surveys/assessments to gauge the effectiveness of programs
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to review, assess, and oversee internal training processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Develop and report on training metrics
- Partner with vendors to schedule trainings and register employees
- Deliver training on specific topics when needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education, experience, certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field
- 5 plus years of experience assessing, developing, and implementing staff training

- Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor
- Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse
