RESEARCH ASSOCIATE I at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

The lab of Dr. Javier Pinilla is recruiting a PRN Research Associate I.

The lab is studying the effects of clinically available BCR Pathway specific kinase inhibitors, PI3Ki and BTKi, and how they augment the regulatory microenvironments, specifically T-regs and MDSCs, involved in CLL preservation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Specific skillsets required for this position are: proficiency in general laboratory techniques, cell culture techniques, general proficiency in computers, immunoblotting (Western Blot), and flow cytometry.

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic, biological, or public health research within the specified research program.
• Assist other members of the laboratory
• Administrative duties: maintain lab supply inventory, order lab supplies

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Hands-on research experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
