Roadside Assistance Representative at Fraley & Schilling – Knoxville, Tennessee

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is responsible for providing customer service by answering phone calls and providing solutions to drivers/customers who encounter roadside issues in a timely manner. This includes the tracking and entry of these issues into computer systems that are used to monitor tools of roadside assistance calls and action items.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Answer roadside assistance calls in a timely manner, providing optimal customer service to our drivers/customers

• Create repair orders and enter necessary information into system

• Check warranty status on repairs and make updates as needed

• Maintain and track all outside repairs and handles accordingly

• Work to provide and review data in an effort to reduce breakdown events

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills (preferably on and off phone)

• Must have basic computer skills and experience using various computer programs

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to stay calm and work in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous Maintenance Technician experience as a diesel or automotive technician

• Prefer previous Customer Service experience
