Position Summary:

The Interactive Host is responsible for providing guests with an energetic and informative welcome. The Interactive Host should be knowledgeable of the attraction and enjoy talking to people.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

· Takes initiative to welcome guests into the building.

· Provide detailed information on what the attraction is and what guests should expect.

· Welcome and assist guests who look curious, regardless of if they are directly asking.

· Ensures guests have information needed to persuade them to purchase tickets.

· Assists guests with all ride requirements, including height.

· Provides direction to guests when entering the attraction.

· Prepares riders by verifying entrance times on pre-purchased tickets.

· Interacts with all guests entering and exiting the attraction.

· Cross train and work other departments as needed.

· Other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

· Must be customer service oriented.

· Must have a positive attitude and high energy level.

· Able to stand for extended periods.

· Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Able to lift items up to 30 pounds.

· Able to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and reach.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· High school diploma or equivalent.
