Job Description

Description:

For more than 60 years, Tyndale has helped readers discover the life-giving truths of God’s Word. Today we’re one of the largest independently owned Christian publishers in the world. Though our business has grown, our mission remains the same: to open God’s Word to as many as possible in language they can relate to and understand.

The Bible Marketing team is passionate about helping people engage with God's Word by connecting readers with trusted Bible brands that meet them in every season of life. The team enjoys working collaboratively, thinking strategically, and solving creative marketing challenges together. While each team member works on their own product lines, they also partner closely with Sales, Design, Editorial, Digital Marketing, and Acquisitions to bring meaningful campaigns to life. Join a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and a shared passion for the mission behind the work.

You'll bring strategic thinking to position Bible products with market awareness and creative precision while developing meaningful measures of success. Working closely with internal teams, you'll create go-to-market plans for a variety of products, including those from high-profile Christian leaders. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across campaign planning, content development, digital marketing, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-moving environment where timely execution is essential.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate Bible brands across consumer, ministry, trade, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans, identifying target audiences, consumer needs, and market opportunities while adapting strategies based on campaign performance and business priorities.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, retail, ministry, and trade channels, coordinating campaign assets, promotional materials, sales tools, and launch resources to support successful product releases.
  • Craft compelling messaging and content strategies that differentiate Bible brands and resonate with pastors, church leaders, and broader Christian audiences.
  • Work closely with Sales, Digital Marketing, Design, Product, authors, ministry partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage workflows, align priorities, and ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance using digital analytics, retail trends, consumer insights, and other data to optimize future marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Make informed marketing decisions by balancing creative thinking with data-driven insights.
  • Represent Bible brands by presenting products and marketing plans at conferences, trade events, and other internal and external settings.

Skills and Qualifications Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in publishing, consumer brands, ministry marketing, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic marketing plans and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including email, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and work effectively with cross-functional teams, well-known Christian leaders, and ministry partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign performance, identify tracking opportunities, and make informed marketing decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Canva, Word, Excel,
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, email marketing, project management platforms, and experience with workflow plan software (Monday.com) preferred.
