SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in Paramount, CA. Position Highlights
- Rate of Pay: $62-$70 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
- Full-Time: 5 days per week; Maximum 40-hour work week.
- Ages/Grades: K-12th (Supporting Multiple School Sites)
- Anticipated Start Date: October 22, 2026 through June 4, 2027

What YOU Need
- Active California LCSW license and/or valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Social Work. Candidates holding either qualification are encouraged to apply!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
- Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email.

Requirements:Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or group counseling and mental health support to students.
- Conduct AB 114 mental health evaluations/assessments, within the clinician’s scope of practice and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify appropriate mental health services, supports, and recommendations.
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, school staff, and families regarding students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs.
- Provide family support, counseling, case management, and referrals to appropriate school and community-based resources.
- Develop and implement appropriate mental health interventions and monitor student progress.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district, legal, and professional requirements.
