Overview
The AgHub Coordinator has overall leadership responsibility for floor operations, logistics and inventory control functions of TAFB’s agricultural produce hub (AgHub) and Mixing Center.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervises work schedules and logistics of the TAFB produce and mixing center operations including floor operations, logistics and inventory control processes of all produce packing activities. Could include leadership and training of staff or volunteers as assigned.
- Works collaboratively with TAFB operations and food sourcing teams to ensure effective communication and coordination regarding the produce operations and supply chain.
- Supports TAFB Produce and Mixing Center initiatives in partnership with Feeding America, Feeding Texas and network of food banks for the timely and efficient shipping, receiving and processing of highly perishable produce and other food products.
- Responsible for managing the accurate and timely entering of all inventory, shipping and receiving data into TAFB inventory system.
- Generates and prepares monthly and other reports to measure key program activities to provide data and metrics to facilitate the evaluation of produce operations activities.
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures, methods and standards for best practice for produce operations and functions.
Additional Duties
- Oversees general housekeeping, warehouse cleanliness, warehouse maintenance, safety program in accordance with TAFB programs, policies and procedures.
- During an emergency, perform activities over and above normal operations.
- Engage in professional development plan to strengthen skills required for position
- Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
- Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of inventory management experience or combination of education and experience
- Supervisory Responsibility
A self-starter and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
Supervision and management experience required.
Excellent time management skills and long-range planning abilities.
- Technical Proficiencies
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, warehouse management and inventory control software
- Communication Skills
Excellence in speaking, writing and presenting information
- Other Competencies
Knowledge of food safety and proper food storage and handling techniques; three to five years of experience in a food related industry is a plus.
Knowledge of inventory and inventory control practices; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; compassion for our mission
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Works in office and warehouse environment
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds
Requires work schedule flexibility with occasional weekend and evening availability
May encounter occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles, and hear moderate noise from office and warehouse equipment
