This Role

This is the ground floor. You'll be the first SDR at Plexus — stepping into a commercial team of 10+ and helping us build the top of our pipeline from scratch.


The first conversation many of our prospects have with Plexus starts with you. Your job is to turn interest into qualified pipeline — and to leave your fingerprints on a sales motion that will scale as we do.


For the right person, the path to Account Executive is real and it's fast.


What You'll Do
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads into booked meetings for the Commercial Director and senior AEs
  • Run targeted outbound sequences to ICP accounts using AI-assisted research and messaging
  • Work warm and inbound leads — not cold-calling a phone book from scratch
  • Ramp toward a target of 20 qualified meetings per month
  • Help define the SDR playbook — you'll write it, not just follow it
  • Maintain a clean CRM so the whole team can trust the data

  • Coachable — you take feedback quickly, apply it, and come back better
  • Competitive — you find a way, you don't quit, and you know what it takes to win consistently

Ideal but flexible

  • 1–2 years in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Comfortable with CRM and sales engagement tools — or fast to learn them
  • A competitive background in sport, debate, or anything requiring discipline and resilience often translates well here


Career Progression

We don't want you in this role in two years. The SDR position exists to develop future Account Executives. The path isn't rigidly defined yet — but the intent is real, the timeline is fast, and we'll build the milestones together as the function grows.
