About Arizona Home Care

Patient Care Infusion (PCI) is a locally owned home infusion and specialty pharmacy and sister company to Arizona Home Care, which has served Valley patients for over 30 years. Our compounding pharmacy technicians prepare sterile compounded medications in a cleanroom environment for home infusion and specialty pharmacy patients — precision work that goes directly to patients managing serious, long-term health needs, not just a prescription filled at a counter.

We're hiring an experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our infusion pharmacy — someone with sound aseptic technique, sharp attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and a commitment to patient safety in a highly regulated cleanroom setting.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: $25–$30/hr based on experience and license level
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Pet insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Generous PTO + paid holidays

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
  • Occasional overtime as needed
  • Participates in Sunday on-call rotation with a required response time of within 30 minutes

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision, in accordance with USP 797, and USP 800 standards
  • Perform aseptic technique for IV admixtures, TPN solutions, intrathecal preparations, and other sterile compounded products
  • Handle, prepare, and dispose of hazardous drugs, including chemotherapy agents, using appropriate closed-system drug transfer devices (CSTDs) and PPE
  • Perform and document required quality control checks, including visual inspection, weight verification, and apply correct beyond-use dates (BUDs)
  • Maintain ISO-classified cleanroom environments through proper gowning, garbing, cleaning, and disinfection procedures
  • Prepare and affix prescription labels, and maintain accurate compounding records, batch logs, and patient profiles
  • Support inventory management for bulk drug substances, compounding supplies, and controlled substances under pharmacist supervision
  • Coordinate with nursing, intake, and delivery teams to support on-time medication delivery and patient care

  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/move between workstations throughout the shift
