Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244

Work hours: Full Time - Days, 40 hours per week; Monday - Thursday; 0700-1700

Texas Health Alliance is a 151-bed, full-service hospital serving our community since 2012. Our location in North Fort Worth provides convenient care to people in North Fort Worth, Keller, North Richland Hills, Haslet, Roanoke and surrounding areas.

We're Joint Commission-accredited with a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Plus, we're a Baby Friendly Facility and Pathways to Excellence designated hospital. We are also a Joint Commission Acute Heart Attack Ready (AHAR) Disease specific certified. We provide wellness services, outpatient surgery and women's imaging services and are a top choice in North Fort Worth for radiology services and much more.

Here's what you need:

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) is required
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• Five (5) years RN Med/Surg or Critical Care experience required.
• Five (5) years of Critical Care experience is preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing is required upon hire.
• BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.
• ACLS and PALS - is required within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC, ATCN, and TNCC - are required within 6 months of hire
• BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.
• CPI - is required within 90 days of hire.
• TOPIC - is required within 90 days of hire.
• ER experience preferred

What you will do:
• Provides leadership and vision for the trauma program(s) in terms of operations, services, and patient care, consistent with best practices and evidenced based care.
• Leads and directs achievement in provision of quality care to the identified patient population, working with appropriate staff and physicians.

• Communicates with members of leadership regarding the findings of case reviews and abstractions.

• Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support the implementation, and on-going evaluation of care delivery.

• Coordinates and facilitates provision of educational opportunities for staff, physicians, patients, external providers of care, and the community.

• Demonstrates involvement in Process Improvement committees to facilitate collaborative and coordinated care of the patient.
