We currently have a career opportunity for a caring, purpose-driven Treatment Coordinator who will take great pride in creating truly extraordinary patient experiences while delivering and supporting the highest quality orthodontic care.The Treatment Coordinator works very closely with the Orthodontist on patient treatment planning and coordination of treatment sequences. All Treatment Coordinators complete several weeks of initial and thorough sales training and extensive ongoing training and coaching. Top Team Members exhibit empathy, confidence, and drive as well as excitement for the prospect of making an impact on people's lives. We're ideally looking to hire an individual with some dental or orthodontic experience; however, experience is not required, and we are able to train the right person who fits our culture.
Responsibilities: Provide & develop an exceptional initial experience with our guests to build a relationship for them to be a part of our practice long term
Introduce patients and families to practice by making a good first impression
Prepare patients for initial exams & annual evaluations
Present diagnostic records to the Orthodontist to evaluate and create treatment plans for patients.
Respond promptly to customers’ needs by discussing treatment options and preparing financial arrangements & discussing insurance benefits with patients
Support prospective patients by thoroughly showing them how we differ from competitors
Exhibit empathy, compassion, and conviction when speaking with prospective patients with the goal of helping to impact their lives for the better.
Provide patient and families with proper orthodontic care instructions, dental health education and dietary recommendations.
Coordinate needed appointments with other professionals and keep patients' general dentist informed of treatment plans.
Ability to empathize and advocate for our prospective patients to take the next step.
Show confidence and expertise overcoming cost and other common prospective patient objections.
Achieve patient conversion results
Assist with patient intraoral photographs & X-rays
Act as an ambassador of the Harwell & Cook Orthodontics Core Values at all times.
Requirements: Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail & strong listening skills
High level of organization (note taking, documentation, reporting, etc
Good work ethic & willingness to travel 2-4 times per week to satellite locations (no overnight travel required)
Multitasking
Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health records & billing software
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable with sales and able to communicate treatment plans and investment options to patients
Experience in orthodontics or dental industry is preferred
High School diploma
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
