You will be responsible for translating complex threat patterns into actionable insights for internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.

  • Own end-to-end attribution efforts for Iran-related crypto activity, including identifying threat actors, financial networks, infrastructure, and blockchain entities linked to sanctions evasion, illicit finance, and cyber operations.

  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and threat-domain specialists to improve intelligence capabilities and analytical processes.
  • Use AI-driven tools and automation workflows to scale research, improve efficiency, and solve complex analytical challenges.
  • Mentor teammates and contribute expertise to strengthen broader intelligence and threat-finance practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Iranian geopolitical, financial, and security environments, combined with strong analytical capabilities and experience investigating complex threats.

  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat finance, sanctions, investigations, national security, or related fields for a senior-level position; 8+ years and recognized expertise for a staff-level profile.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Iran, including the IRGC, IRGC-Qods Force, proxy networks, sanctions evasion methods, illicit finance, or procurement ecosystems.
  • Experience conducting blockchain investigations, on-chain tracing, cryptocurrency analysis, or the ability to apply strong threat-finance expertise to digital asset investigations.
  • Background working in intelligence agencies, government organizations, law enforcement, military, research institutions, or private-sector counter-threat-finance environments.
  • Strong understanding of Iranian regional dynamics, geopolitical developments, and financial networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex intelligence findings to technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to independently manage complex investigations, make sound judgments, and deliver high-quality analysis under time constraints.
  • Experience working with data analysis tools and blockchain intelligence platforms.
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to automate workflows, improve research capabilities, and enhance analytical output.
  • Farsi language skills are highly valued; Arabic proficiency is also a plus.
