Human Resources Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with additional availability as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $95,000–$115,000
Reports To: Director of Human Resources

About the Role

The Human Resources Manager will lead day-to-day HR operations and serve as a trusted partner to managers across SafeTouch. This role provides leadership on employee relations, compliance, performance management, policies, training, and HR team development while helping drive consistent and effective HR practices across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day HR operations and ensure consistent, compliant HR practices.
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, and workplace matters.
  • Lead complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations, providing recommendations and appropriate follow-through.
  • Advise managers on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, separations, and other employment decisions.
  • Oversee HR compliance, policies, employee documentation, and complex leave, accommodation, and workers’ compensation matters.
  • Develop and deliver HR, manager, compliance, and employee training.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, controls, and employee experience.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and business leaders on workforce needs and organizational initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop assigned HR team members and oversee their workflow and priorities.
  • Support organizational change, integrations, and other strategic HR initiatives as needed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant Generalist, HRBP, or HR management experience.
  • Experience independently managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Strong experience coaching and advising managers on employee and performance matters.
  • Supervisory or HR team leadership experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and recognize when escalation is appropriate.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Multi-state or multi-location HR experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Must pass drug screening and background check requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurable driving record required.

Physical Requirements

  • Perform work while seated, standing, walking, or moving between locations for extended periods.
  • Use computers and related technology, read electronic and printed materials, and observe details at close range.
  • Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Occasionally move or transport light objects.
  • Travel to work, client sites, and other locations as business needs require.
