Director Of Human Resources in Jacksonville, Florida at Baggett Law

We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized human resources manager to lead our HR department. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training; play a key role in strategic planning and business administration; and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players. Experience in the legal industry is preferred.

$60,000 - $80,000 DOE

• Process and maintain internal documents, paperwork, records, and reports
• Oversee human resources programs including employee training, benefits, compensation, and company evaluation
• Meet with departing employees for exit interviews and receive feedback on our current systems for improvement
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train qualified candidates who would be assets to our organization
• Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements

• 3+ years as an HR manager, senior HR generalist, or in an upper-level HR position
• Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR management, business management, or a similar field
• Possess an SHRM certification or certification from a similar institute
