Job Description

Digital Advertising Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Advertising Specialist based in Canada.

As a Digital Advertising Specialist, you will help clients launch, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns designed to generate strong engagement and measurable business results.
You will work closely with Sales and Accounting teams to understand client objectives, establish budgets, and translate business goals into effective digital strategies.
The role combines campaign execution, performance analysis, optimization, reporting, and proactive client support.
You will manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads, using data and technology to improve performance and return on investment.
You will also monitor campaign health, identify opportunities for improvement, and adapt strategies as client needs evolve.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to onboard new clients and understand their advertising objectives, requirements, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement online advertising strategies aligned with individual client goals and business priorities.
  • Partner with Sales and Accounting teams to establish appropriate advertising budgets and ensure campaigns are aligned with agreed parameters.
  • Create and launch Google Ads campaigns, primarily using API-based tools and processes.
  • Develop and manage Facebook advertising campaigns to support client objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify underperforming campaigns, and determine opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns to improve performance, engagement, and return on advertising investment.
  • Review and adjust existing campaigns as client objectives, market conditions, or business requirements change.
  • Proactively identify and resolve campaign-related client concerns while maintaining a strong focus on service quality.
  • Produce monthly campaign performance reports using API-based reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the broader SEM team on additional campaign management, optimization, and operational activities.
  • Maintain effective organization and prioritization across multiple campaigns, clients, and deadlines.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital advertising, with hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns.
  • Google Ads certification and practical experience working with Google Ads campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising performance, campaign tracking, and website-based performance measurement.
  • Experience creating, managing, analyzing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify performance trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Excellent English and French communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and workload-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple campaigns and competing priorities.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving campaign issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Accounting, SEM, and other internal teams.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Candidates located in Montreal, Quebec are preferred.

  • Base salary of $59,200–$71,050 CAD, with final compensation determined based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
