As a Weekday On-Call RN, you'll be an essential source of comfort and support for hospice patients and their families during the evening and overnight hours. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. You'll provide responsive, compassionate nursing care while helping patients and families feel supported, informed, and cared for when they need it most.

🌙 What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on nursing care based on physician orders.
• Respond to urgent patient and family needs during your on-call hours.
• Provide calm, expert care and reassurance during evening and overnight hours.
• Help ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality hospice care.

• Provide education and emotional support related to end-of-life care, disease progression, self-care, and nutrition.
• Answer questions and provide reassurance to patients and their loved ones.
• Serve as a trusted source of support during challenging moments.

• Collaborate with the full hospice team to ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Communicate patient needs and changes appropriately with the care team.
• Support continuity of care throughout your on-call window.

Required Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
• Strong communication skills and clinical competence.
• Commitment to the hospice philosophy.

• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Hospice or home health experience.
