Lifelong Learning Specialist – Part Time

Do you enjoy facilitating activities, building meaningful relationships, and creating a positive, welcoming environment? As a Lifelong Learning Specialist with Clermont Senior Services, you’ll help older adults socialize, learn new skills and stay active.

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable individual who enjoys working with people and understands the importance of treating every customer with respect, dignity, and kindness

What You’ll Do

This part-time float position provides support, as needed, at each of our Lifelong Learning Centers in Bethel, Union Twp. and Miami Twp. under the direction of the respective center’s Coordinator.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading groups through scheduled activities and classes, according to the Coordinator’s activity plan.
• Assist with daily center operations, activity setup, and cleanup.
• Welcome participants and encourage socialization and participation.
• Answering phones and communicating professionally in person and by email.
• Using Microsoft Office and Canva to support center activities and administrative needs.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Travel to and from each center as needed.

Starting Wage = $14.50 per hour

What You’ll Need

Candidates must meet following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must meet the agency’s general requirements.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position that involves frequent movement. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing, walking, and bending; squatting and kneeling; and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
