About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at SurgiCare of Oradell, LLC, located in Oradell, New Jersey. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals in the operating room. Your main goal will be to ensure that all surgical procedures are conducted smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. You will play a critical role in the success of our surgical team, and your contributions will be valued and appreciated.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital or surgical center.
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and performing other tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the surgical team, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical assistants, to ensure that all procedures are conducted safely and efficiently.

Skills:

As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will use your strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment to assist surgeons and other medical professionals in the operating room. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other members of the surgical team. You will also need to be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, as surgical procedures can be intense and time-sensitive. Additionally, experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and fluency in Spanish are preferred but not required skills that can be beneficial in this role.
