Lactation Consultant at Saint Anthony Hospital – Chicago, Illinois

Purpose: The Lactation RN Consultant is responsible for the overall coordination, planning and management of patient, family and staff education related to breastfeeding and developmental department education for Saint Anthony Hospital Obstetric Departments.

Job Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
• One year of clinical acute care RN lactation consultant experience.
• Current certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
• Demonstrated accuracy with software applications including WORD and McKession; excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative.
