Position Purpose:

• The Nurse Practitioner, in collaboration with the physician, provides medical care and treatment for patients in the office under a Sinai physician’s care.
• She/he works within the collaborative practice agreement as agreed by the nurse practitioner and the designated physician(s).
• The nurse practitioner is responsible for assessment and treatment.
• The nurse practitioner will participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement.
• Emphasize health promotion, maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of acute & chronic diseases.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Attends monthly provider meetings.
• Complies with standards and regulations of licensure, regulatory and accrediting agencies.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education and Work Experience:

• Master’s Degree — Nurse Practitioner
• Prefer: Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience in an outpatient clinical-based practice
