Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of weekly emails and website graphics, creation of digital ad campaigns (Meta & Google), and supports the design and development of event flyers and signage. They should have exceptional creativity, innovative design skills, and the ability to create impactful visuals that engage, inform and inspire.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our creative in-house Marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for the design of weekly emails and website graphics, as well as creating digital ad campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google. You will also leverage your video production expertise by producing visually compelling content on our in-store video displays to help drive sales, promotions and events with high-quality video content.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

• Design weekly emails from initial concept through to deployment ensuring a mobile-first mindset and in keeping with brand standards.

• Assist in formulating the email marketing strategy and calendar to increase overall sales growth and help with weekly scheduling and reporting on performance.

• Lead the development of paid digital ad campaigns (static & video assets).

• Support the design and development of monthly promotional flyers and accompanying website sliders.

• Make proactive recommendations and challenge the status quo by identifying areas for improvement and bring forward trends and inspiration that will drive continued success.

• Manage design and graphic workflows and ensure timelines are on track.

• Help in the development of retail displays, packaging and other ad hoc requests.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Produce and edit high quality, highly engaging video content for our in-store video display.

• Align content to be relevant to in-store promotions, specific brand goals and sales events and regularly update content to ensure relevance and impact.

• Maintain a library of videos and assets for regular rotational use.

• Ensure that the video assets are updated and displayed in a timely manner.

• A diploma in Graphic Arts Technology or equivalent.

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Ability to produce and edit video assets utilizing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Canva, and TikTok.

• Experience within the Klaviyo and BigCommerce platforms is an asset.

• Understanding and knowledge of design principles.

• Previous design experience in a retail environment is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment with high workload volumes, tight deadlines, and where attention to detail is critical.
