Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing CES's financial management reporting and analytics, as well as overseeing the long-term and annual planning processes. The ideal candidate has a track record of driving financial insight through analytics and business acumen, a strong educational and work background in finance, with hands on experience in ERP systems, reporting systems, and advanced Excel skills. Experience using Acumatica and building Power BI reports is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Provide actionable insights into financial performance by creating repeatable and intuitive financial reporting.
  • Identify and communicate trends, variances, and areas for improvement by analyzing data and financial metrics.
  • Provide business leaders and end users with KPI-aligned drillable analytics so they can make better and faster decisions that support the overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial data for accurate reporting.
• Planning & Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual planning process by working directly with various businesses and departments.
  • Build financial models to support accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
  • Continuously monitor performance vs. plan and recommend adjustments when necessary.
• Strategic Financial Support:
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of various business opportunities and risks.
• Data Analytics Expertise:
  • Utilize ERP systems and financial reporting tools to automate processes, design processes and data structures to support analytics, and improve data accuracy.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills to create complex financial models, reports, and analyses.
  • Experience with Acumatica and Power BI is preferred, particularly for report building and data visualization.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a similar financial role.
  • Practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, reporting systems, and advanced Excel functionality.
  • Experience with Acumatica and Power BI is a plus.
