Job Description
Girl Scouts of Utah is seeking a highly organized, strong writer and relationship-builder to join our Development team. This role plays a key part in driving fundraising success through grant writing, donor engagement, event leadership, and operational support. Key ResponsibilitiesGrant Writing & Fund Development
- Research, write, and manage grant proposals, reports, and funding relationships
- Oversee grant pipeline, deadlines, and compliance
- Partner with internal teams to align funding opportunities with program impact
Donor Engagement & Database Management
- Support donor stewardship and relationship-building efforts
- Maintain accurate donor records in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
- Process gifts, acknowledgments, and generate reports to track engagement
Event Management
- Lead planning and execution of key events such as Camping for a Cause and Town Club Silver Tea
- Collaborate with volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community partners
- Support additional fundraising and donor engagement events, including media-related opportunities
Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Partner across teams to support fundraising campaigns and mission-driven initiatives
- Contribute to creative strategies that grow revenue and community engagement
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of grant writing, fundraising, or related experience
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Blackbaud (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed; attendance at fundraising events, donor engagements, and stakeholder meetings—including evenings and weekends—is expected.
- This is an on-site role with flexible scheduling between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with the potential for a hybrid (partially remote) work arrangement after six months.
