Job Title: Director of the Ice Hockey Program
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Responsible to: Director of Athletics

Position Summary: The Director of the Ice Hockey Program position is for a candidate with 4+ years of ice hockey coaching experience (head coaching experience preferred). This is a part-time, seasonal position. The season runs from Nov 1 to March 1, with the coaching day typically being 3-7 pm Monday-Friday, and Saturday hours vary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
● 4+ years of ice hockey coaching experience
● Excellent organization skills and ability to organize others/predict the needs for the
development of staff
● Outstanding communication skills and proficient with social media
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with other professionals and students
● Sense of humor, enthusiastic and happy, high ethical professional standards, and
multicultural perspective
● Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
● Appreciation of single-sex independent school education

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
● Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
● May work in varied extreme outside weather conditions
● Works in an environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges and a varied and diverse
array of contacts
