Accountabilities:

The Directeur·rice, Investissements will be responsible for managing investment activities, evaluating opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting entrepreneurs and partners through strategic guidance. The role requires strong financial expertise combined with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.

  • Perform financial analyses, valuation models, and investment assessments for existing and potential investment opportunities.
  • Contribute to portfolio management by monitoring performance, profitability, risks, and strategic priorities.
  • Track the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and recommend adjustments when required.
  • Participate in shareholder meetings, board meetings, and strategic discussions while representing organizational interests.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and new entrepreneurial initiatives aligned with investment objectives.
  • Prepare investment recommendations and contribute to transaction analysis and negotiation processes.
  • Develop performance reports, dashboards, and strategic insights for senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, founders, and investment partners.
  • Provide strategic support related to business models, financial structures, growth strategies, and operational optimization.
  • Ensure ongoing financial reporting through periodic portfolio reviews and performance assessments.
  • Monitor market trends, identify investment opportunities, and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across existing investments and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a finance or investment professional with strong analytical capabilities, business judgment, and experience evaluating companies and managing investment portfolios. They should combine technical financial expertise with entrepreneurial curiosity and the ability to collaborate effectively with founders and senior stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, investment, or a related field.
  • CFA or CPA designation is considered an asset.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment management, portfolio management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience or direct exposure to entrepreneurial environments, venture capital, or growth-stage companies is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, company valuation methodologies, and due diligence processes.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
  • Demonstrated investment judgment with experience making or supporting strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support business growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with entrepreneurs, executives, and partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently and prioritizing effectively.
