Senior CRM Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior CRM Consultant based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver impactful CRM solutions for organizations within the financial services sector.
You will work closely with clients to understand business challenges, optimize processes, and translate requirements into scalable CRM strategies.
The position combines consulting expertise, solution architecture, process improvement, and hands-on project execution.
You will play a key role in guiding clients through CRM transformation initiatives, from discovery and design to implementation and adoption.
Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help improve customer engagement, automate workflows, and create measurable business value.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior CRM Consultant, you will lead CRM consulting engagements by connecting business objectives with technology solutions. You will support clients throughout the CRM lifecycle, ensuring successful implementations, user adoption, and continuous improvement while contributing to the growth of the consulting practice.

  • Advise financial services organizations on CRM strategies, automation opportunities, and operational improvements.
  • Analyze client processes, identify business requirements, and recommend CRM optimization opportunities.
  • Design CRM system architectures, process maps, and detailed solution designs aligned with client needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and implementation plans.
  • Develop training materials, facilitate workshops, and provide post-launch support to ensure successful adoption.
  • Design workflows and automation solutions to improve efficiency and enhance customer experiences.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, maintain project documentation, and support timely delivery of CRM initiatives.
  • Create release plans, define testing strategies, support quality assurance activities, and proactively resolve project challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders through effective communication and strategic guidance.
  • Contribute to CRM best practices, knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and mentorship of junior consultants.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong CRM consulting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, leading discussions, and delivering CRM solutions that address complex business needs.

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM consulting, implementation, and solution delivery.
  • Strong understanding of CRM technical concepts, including APIs, data models, objects, field mapping, and integrations.
  • Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, and managing client relationships.
  • Proven experience working directly with external customers in a consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project lifecycles, and agile methodologies.
  • Valid CRM certification.
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations while maintaining focus on execution and delivery.
  • Experience implementing CRM solutions within financial services environments, such as banking or credit union organizations, is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex client situations effectively.
