Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GTM Contract Recruiter based in the United States.
This role is an opportunity to lead high-impact go-to-market recruiting for a fast-growing organization operating in a complex, highly competitive market.
You will own targeted searches for senior and specialized sales professionals who can directly influence the next stage of business growth.
Working closely with sales leaders, executives, and top-performing sellers, you will build sophisticated sourcing strategies that go well beyond traditional job boards.
You will bring an executive-search mindset to market mapping, targeted outreach, pipeline development, candidate engagement, and closing.
The role combines strategic recruiting, competitive talent intelligence, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on execution.
With a high degree of autonomy, you will help shape the recruiting infrastructure and talent pipelines that support critical commercial priorities.
Success will be measured by the quality of hires, strength of pipelines, and ability to close exceptional candidates in highly competitive markets.
- Own full-cycle recruitment for go-to-market positions across commercial, enterprise, government, and specialized sales functions, managing searches from strategy through offer acceptance.
- Run approximately 3–5 concurrent high-complexity searches with executive-search rigor, including market mapping, targeted sourcing, outreach, pipeline management, candidate assessment, and closing.
- Partner directly with sales leadership and senior stakeholders to define search strategies, establish requirements, develop interview plans, and provide informed guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Build outbound-first sourcing strategies using targeted research, practitioner communities, referral networks, direct outreach, and other non-traditional channels to reach candidates who may not be actively looking.
- Activate senior leaders, executives, and high-performing sales professionals as strategic participants in the sourcing and referral process.
- Maintain a strong warm talent bench between active searches, continuously developing relationships with high-potential GTM candidates for future opportunities.
- Serve as a strong representative of the organization throughout the candidate journey, communicating its mission, values, and opportunities effectively to prospective talent.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics to evaluate pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, search performance, and conversion rates, making data-driven adjustments when needed.
- Manage timely, consistent, and high-quality candidate communication throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
- Operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy while maintaining strong organization, recruiting discipline, and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous searches.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 5 years focused on go-to-market or sales recruiting within an in-house or agency environment.
- Demonstrated success filling difficult-to-hire, highly competitive, or niche GTM positions where qualified candidates are limited and often not actively seeking new opportunities.
- Proven experience conducting searches with executive-search discipline, including market mapping, targeted outbound sourcing, pipeline management, and strong candidate conversion and close rates.
- A clearly established outbound-first sourcing approach, with the ability to identify where high-performing talent operates and develop creative strategies to engage them.
- Strong experience partnering directly with sales executives and senior business leaders to define hiring needs, shape search strategies, build interview processes, and influence hiring decisions.
- Hands-on expertise with recruiting and sourcing technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, outbound sequencing tools, ATS platforms, and related recruiting systems.
- Proven ability to close candidates who are passively looking or managing competing opportunities through effective relationship building, communication, and negotiation.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage several complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality or rigor.
- Ability to use recruiting data and metrics to evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve sourcing and hiring strategies.
- Experience working with an ATS; familiarity with Greenhouse is an advantage.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Experience recruiting for government, federal, or cleared environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to risk, compliance, intelligence, financial crime, data, cybersecurity, or other complex and specialized markets is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, judgment, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility quickly with senior leaders and experienced candidates.
Benefits:
- Target base compensation range of $60–$80 USD, with final compensation determined based on factors such as location, local market conditions, experience, expertise, and internal equity.
- Opportunity to work remotely within the United States.
- High-autonomy environment with direct exposure to senior sales and executive stakeholders.
- Opportunity to work on strategic, high-impact GTM searches supporting significant business growth.
- Inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
- Opportunity to build sophisticated recruiting strategies and talent networks in specialized and competitive markets.
