Job Description

This is a community-facing, relationship and results-driven role for someone who understands how to build trust, connect meaningfully, and turn conversations into real outcomes.

As our Outreach & Engagement Coordinator, you will represent the firm throughout Volusia County, develop strong referral relationships, and create events that lead to meaningful client action.

Schedule & Work Structure

  • Part-time 20–25 hours per week, with the possibility of turning into a full-time position
  • Primarily weekday hours with flexibility
  • 1 event day per week (~6-8 hrs on those days; often on Wednesdays)
  • Occasional evening or weekend day (pre-scheduled)
  • Regular community outreach throughout Volusia County is required

Compensation

  • $24/hour
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to event outcomes and referral growth; ideal for someone motivated by both impact and results

  • Outreach efforts are organized, tracked, and improving

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Own

Events (End-to-End)

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute firm events
  • Increase attendance and engagement
  • Serve as host/MC at events
  • Present at smaller community events
  • Build relationships with attendees
  • Guide attendees toward booking Legal Life Planning Sessions (LLPS)

Referral Partner Growth

  • Build and maintain referral relationships
  • Track referrals (inbound/outbound)
  • Develop partnerships that generate clients
  • Execute thoughtful partner touchpoints and gifting

Community Outreach

  • Visit 5+ local businesses weekly
  • Represent the firm at events and networking opportunities
  • Build partnerships for workshops and collaborations
  • Manage sponsorships and maximize visibility

Client Referral Support

  • Strengthen client relationships to encourage referrals
  • Track and recognize referring clients
  • Support gifting and “surprise & delight” efforts

Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate tracking of outreach and results
  • Monitor event performance and referral activity
  • Use data to improve outcomes over time

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2+ years in outreach, networking, business development, client relations, or similar roles
  • Proven ability to turn relationships into measurable outcomes (referrals, bookings, partnerships)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with individuals and small groups
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Reliable transportation for travel throughout Volusia County
  • Willingness to attend community events and occasionally work evenings/weekends
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and independently carry all marketing and event-related materials to and from the office > your car > to the venue

Preferred

  • Experience in professional services (legal, healthcare, financial, senior services)
  • Event planning or coordination experience
  • Experience with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or tracking/reporting tools
  • Background in account management, client relations, or referral-based roles
