Memory Care Director (Assisted Living Community)

An established assisted living community is seeking a passionate, experienced Memory Care Director to lead and elevate a growing memory care program.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role for someone who excels in the day-to-day—building relationships, supporting team members, and creating meaningful experiences for residents and their families. The ideal candidate brings both strong operational leadership and genuine heart, with a deep commitment to serving individuals living with cognitive impairment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all aspects of the memory care neighborhood, including operations, programming, and team performance
Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with residents, families, and team members daily
Partner closely with families, healthcare providers, and internal leaders to ensure clear communication and high-quality outcomes
Recruit, train, coach, and develop a compassionate and high-performing team
Ensure consistency in routines, structure, and individualized, resident-centered programming
Foster an environment where residents feel safe, supported, and valued

Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in memory care within assisted living or a similar setting
Strong knowledge of dementia and cognitive impairment, with a clear passion for serving this population
Relationship-driven leadership style with the ability to connect authentically with residents, families, and team members
Hands-on, visible leader who leads by example and holds high standards
Strong organizational and operational skills with the ability to execute effectively
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
