The Software Developer will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of cloud-based applications while ensuring technical quality, scalability, security, and operational reliability.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective software solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Build applications using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, C++, or Rust.
- Contribute to the development and integration of RESTful APIs and software frameworks that improve system interoperability.
- Support cloud-based application deployment and operations using services for computing, storage, databases, networking, serverless technologies, and containers.
- Participate in infrastructure-as-code initiatives and automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including automation, testing, code reviews, secure coding standards, and technical documentation.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to select and implement appropriate data storage solutions.
- Leverage AI agents, generative AI, and AI-assisted developer tools to improve productivity, quality, and development workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Manage multiple development activities while maintaining delivery timelines, quality standards, and technical excellence.
- Stay current with cloud technologies, architectural patterns, AI development practices, and emerging industry trends.
The ideal candidate is an experienced software developer with strong cloud expertise, solid engineering fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams. They should demonstrate a passion for building reliable systems and adopting modern development practices.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including scalability, reliability, and design patterns.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, C++, or Rust.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience developing and operating solutions on major public cloud platforms, with strong preference for AWS expertise.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, serverless architectures, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Understanding of security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure API design.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools or AI agents within software development workflows.
- Experience delivering complex software solutions to customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer are considered an advantage.
- Experience in machine learning, data engineering, or building AI-enabled applications is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible Central Time business hours.

- Fixed-term contract opportunity ranging from 3–9 months based on client requirements.
