Location: 605 Territorial Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Second Shift Hours: 3pm - 3am, with required additional hours, overtime and weekends
Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour based on experience and skills
What we are looking for:
The Operator I, Lettershop is required to operate mail and lettershop production equipment. While meeting productivity standards and performance requirements in a team environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Set-up, Operating and Maintenance of Insert equipment
- Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
- Insert machine set up basic jobs
- Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
- Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
- Trouble-shooting equipment
- Provide proper machine adjustments to meet established standards
- Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
- Reconciling/recording for all output
- Accurately use job data capture to track time
- Show a strong quality of work
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
- Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
- Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
- Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures
Who you are:
- 2 years experience working with high speed production/manufacturing equipment
- Mail inserting machine experience is STRONGLY preferred
- Excellent work history of longevity, attendance record and punctuality
- Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of USPS regulations
- Ability to read and understand job tickets
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required
- Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility
Physical Demands:
- Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
