- Minimum 40 hours per month performed at the Chapel during normal duty hours (0730-1630)
- Remaining hours may include evenings, weekends, religious education activities, meetings, planning, and special events
- Position performance period begins September 15, 2026
- Base period followed by four option years

Services will be performed at the Whiteman AFB Chapel and other approved locations supporting Protestant Religious Education programs and activities.
Position SummaryLadgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Protestant Religious Education Coordinator to support the Protestant Religious Education Program at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
The coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supporting Protestant religious education programs for children, youth, and adults. The position requires experience in religious education program management, curriculum coordination, volunteer support, and community engagement within a Protestant faith environment.
The successful candidate will assist in developing educational programs, coordinating volunteers, supporting chapel activities, maintaining program documentation, and ensuring effective delivery of religious education services to the military community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and support Protestant Religious Education programs for children, youth, and adults.
- Plan and maintain annual religious education calendars, schedules, and program activities.
- Research, recommend, and coordinate appropriate Protestant religious education curriculum and instructional materials.
- Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers involved in religious education programs.
- Assist with volunteer training, qualification tracking, and compliance requirements for personnel working with children and youth.
- Support Sunday School, Bible studies, youth programs, Vacation Bible School, and other Protestant ministry activities.
- Coordinate classroom preparation, instructional materials, supplies, and facility requirements.
- Maintain attendance records, program documentation, inventories, and required reports.
- Assist with publicity, announcements, and communication efforts for religious education programs.
- Support budget planning, purchase requests, and tracking of religious education resources.
- Coordinate with Chapel leadership, military personnel, families, and community members.
- Provide on-site support during scheduled religious education activities and special events.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Minimum two years of experience planning, coordinating, or supporting Protestant religious education programs.
- Experience developing and managing educational activities for children, youth, and adults.
- Strong knowledge of Protestant faith traditions, practices, and religious education methods.
- Experience coordinating volunteers and supporting community-based programs.
- Ability to develop lesson plans, schedules, calendars, and educational materials.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with military personnel, families, volunteers, and diverse communities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
- Ability to pass required background screening requirements.
- Must be a member in good standing of a Protestant church or actively participate in Protestant Chapel programs.
