Security Team Associate in Chocowinity, North Carolina at Boaters World Manufacturing Group

Boater’s World Manufacturing Group is seeking dependable and professional Security Team Associates to support our boat manufacturing facility in Chocowinity, North Carolina.

The Security Team Associate helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, company property, and the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for monitoring facility access, conducting routine property checks, documenting security activity, assisting visitors, and promptly reporting unusual or unsafe situations.

This is a facility security position that requires reliability, good judgment, professionalism, and the ability to remain alert throughout the assigned shift. Previous security experience is preferred but not required for candidates with a strong work history and demonstrated dependability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Monitor designated entrances, exits, gates, and other facility access points
• Verify employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and other individuals entering the property as required
• Follow established visitor check-in and access-control procedures
• Assist with issuing or tracking visitor badges and maintaining visitor records
• Conduct routine walking and/or vehicle patrols of the facility and surrounding property
• Monitor parking areas, exterior areas, entrances, and other designated locations
• Remain alert for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property damage, safety hazards, or other concerns
• Monitor security cameras and other security systems as assigned
• Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, or unusual activity according to established procedures
• Document incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activity accurately
• Immediately communicate significant security or safety concerns to the appropriate leadership
• Assist employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors with basic facility directions and access questions
• Help ensure company property, equipment, materials, and restricted areas remain secure
• Support opening, closing, locking, and unlocking procedures as assigned
• Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations, severe-weather events, and other facility situations as directed
• Coordinate with Human Resources, EHS, facility leadership, and other departments when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company, employee, visitor, and security-related information
• Maintain a professional and respectful presence while representing the company
• Follow all company security, safety, and facility procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous security, loss prevention, military, law enforcement, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar experience preferred
• Dependable attendance and ability to consistently report to work as scheduled
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow established security procedures and respond appropriately to unusual situations
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and leadership
• Ability to accurately complete basic logs, reports, and documentation
• Ability to use basic computer, communication, and security-monitoring systems
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate concerns to leadership
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Chocowinity, North Carolina

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous security or facility-security experience
• Manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial facility experience
• Access control and visitor management
• Security camera or surveillance-system monitoring
• Routine facility or property patrols
• Incident reporting and documentation
• Emergency-response procedures
• Loss prevention or asset-protection experience

WORK SCHEDULE

• Must be available to work the assigned facility security schedule
• Schedule may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs
• Reliable and consistent attendance is an essential requirement of the position

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work is performed throughout an active manufacturing facility and surrounding property
• Position may involve both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to regularly patrol facility and property areas during the assigned shift
• Ability to climb stairs and move throughout manufacturing and exterior areas as required
• Ability to respond promptly to security or facility concerns
• Must wear required PPE when entering designated manufacturing areas
• Must follow all facility safety and security procedures
