Job Description
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN
Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA to provide quality in-home care to clients. The Home Health Aide/CNA will assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and comfort in a safe home environment.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean living environment.
- Remind clients to take medications as directed (non-medication administration).
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and agency policies.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (if transporting clients).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers.
- Previous caregiving or home health experience preferred but not required.
- CPR/First Aid certification (less than 2 years old)
- Negative TB Test (less than 2 years old)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
