Pediatric LPN in Paramus, New Jersey at Affirmed Home Care

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 care to an 11-year-old pediatric client in Paramus, NJ.

This child requires nursing support including nebulizer treatments and suctioning. The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced in pediatric care and proficient in suctioning.

Spanish bilingual/Spanish-speaking skills are required for this position.

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Provide compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the client's home.
• Administer and assist with prescribed nebulizer treatments.
• Perform suctioning safely and appropriately.
• Monitor the child's condition and report changes to the appropriate clinical team.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with the child's family and Affirmed Home Care's pediatric clinical leadership team.
• Follow the individualized plan of care and all applicable nursing standards.

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Preferred 1 year pediatric experience (home care or acute care)
• Proficiency in suctioning required
• Experience with nebulizer treatments preferred
• Spanish-speaking/bilingual required
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or medical exemption
