Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in East Orange, New Jersey at Posterity Group LLC

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The VA New Jersey Healthcare System (VANJHCS) with full time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). The LPNs are expected to perform the following:

• Is oriented and credentialled to provide all aspects of nursing care and may be assigned to other nursing posts as needed to support the mission
• Assists in the management of the immunization program, including ordering and storage of vaccines.
• Assessing vaccine records and schedules to determine needed immunizations.
• Providing immunizations to patients.
• Providing education regarding immunizations to patients.
• Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging detainees or staff exiting the building during an emergency

• at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Valid BLS
• Valid, current, unrestricted state license
• A graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program OR be a graduate of an accredited LPN program by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), OR have completed an equivalent military training program.
