This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Core Delivery Engineer - AWS, Integration & DevSecOps based in United States.
This role is responsible for turning cloud and data architecture into secure, production-ready technology for a large-scale healthcare data environment.
You will build and operate AWS infrastructure, automated delivery pipelines, integrations, data pipelines, and deployment capabilities.
The position combines hands-on cloud engineering with infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, healthcare interoperability, and operational reliability.
You will help bring complex healthcare data services into production while embedding security, quality, testing, and observability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Working alongside engineering, security, quality, integration, and delivery teams, you will contribute to mission-critical public-sector healthcare initiatives.
The environment is technically demanding and highly collaborative, with opportunities to work across modern cloud technologies and healthcare data standards.
This is a remote U.S. position, with travel to Jefferson City, Missouri, as directed.
- Build and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure using approved infrastructure-as-code tools and repeatable environment-provisioning practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated code, dependency, configuration, vulnerability, policy, quality, and deployment controls.
- Develop and support AWS Glue ingestion and transformation pipelines handling structured and unstructured healthcare data sources.
- Build APIs, connectors, interfaces, event-driven services, and data exchanges using FHIR, HL7, X12, CDA/C-CDA, JSON/XML, and secure-file integration patterns.
- Automate unit, integration, regression, performance, security, resilience, and disaster-recovery testing in collaboration with quality and security teams.
- Implement comprehensive observability through logs, metrics, traces, alerts, dashboards, correlation IDs, and operational diagnostics for pipelines and interfaces.
- Support releases, cutovers, migrations, production validation, incident resolution, hypercare, performance optimization, and defect remediation.
- Maintain deployment documentation, source-code repositories, configuration baselines, interface specifications, operational runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Help ensure cloud, integration, and delivery capabilities meet security, reliability, scalability, and operational requirements for production environments.
- 8+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure automation.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience using infrastructure as code in production delivery environments.
- 8+ years of experience implementing or enforcing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines with automated security and quality gates.
- Strong experience translating technical architecture into secure, repeatable, and automated cloud delivery solutions.
- Hands-on AWS and AWS Glue experience is strongly preferred, with relevant AWS certification considered an advantage.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or comparable infrastructure-as-code technologies.
- Familiarity with containers, orchestration platforms, artifact management, secrets management, and automated deployment tooling.
- Healthcare integration experience involving FHIR R4, HL7 v2, X12 EDI, CDA/C-CDA, API gateways, or clinical-data pipelines is preferred.
- Experience working with regulated healthcare or government environments, particularly Medicaid/MMIS/MES, state HHS, HIPAA, MARS-E, NIST, or similar frameworks, is advantageous.
- Strong background in observability, performance engineering, automated testing, release management, production support, and incident resolution.
- Analytical and proactive approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues, with strong attention to security, reliability, and operational detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, security, quality, integration, and delivery teams.
- Must be able to perform all work within the United States and support onsite needs in Jefferson City, Missouri, as directed.
