Crouse Health is hiring an Affiliate Manager of Finance.

Schedule: Part-Time, Day Shift, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Range: $140,000.00 / annual

Affiliate Manager of Finance Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation, review, interpretation, and analysis of the financial activities and functions of Crouse Medical Practice, PLLC (CMP).
  • This role develops and oversees activities related to maintaining the integrity of the organization’s financial reporting systems and ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial information.
  • Responsible for the full month-end close process, including all revenue and expense recognition, as well as budget management, capital expenditure review and approval, cash management, payroll review, ad hoc financial reporting, and contract review (provider agreements, rent/lease arrangements, and other operational contracts).
  • Oversees key compliance and external reporting functions, including coordination of the annual audit, review and support of the Form 990 filing, quarterly payroll tax review, and annual 1099 reporting.
  • Partners with operational and clinical leaders to identify trends, improve financial performance, and ensure accurate revenue realization across all specialties.
  • Educates end users on interpreting and effectively utilizing financial and revenue cycle data to support sound strategic decision-making and maintain CMP’s fiscal responsibility.

Affiliate Manager of Finance Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. MBA in Accounting and/or CPA designation preferred.
  • 5-7 years of healthcare accounting experience, including revenue cycle management experience in a multi-specialty physician practice (e.g. charge capture, billing/collections, denial management, payer reimbursement, and provider compensation impacts).
  • Demonstrated experience managing month-end close, revenue and expense analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial/RCM systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think independently with discretion, sound judgment, diplomacy, and effective decision making.
  • Ability to work in a calm, professional manner under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with department heads and senior leadership.
  • Ability to organize complex tasks, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
