Location: Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta (project-based)
Position Type: Contract / Casual
Wage/Salary Range: $50.00 per hour
Shift Schedule: Variable; day and night shifts
Hours Per Day: Up to 12 hours

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Commercial Diver to join our Valued Clients team in the Alberta region. This is a contract position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety in challenging environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform underwater construction, maintenance, and inspection tasks
- Operate marine equipment including boats, barges, and dredges
- Follow all company and industry safety standards and procedures
- Conduct Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRA)
- Report and assist in resolving hazards, incidents, and near-misses
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diver Certification Board of Canada (DCBC) certification
- Marine Emergency Duties (MED) A3 or SDV-BS certification
- Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Current, physician-approved diver medical certification
- Minimum 3 years of marine equipment operation experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in underwater industrial or construction environments
- Willingness to travel and work on varied project schedules
Work Environment:
- Work in underwater and marine environments with limited visibility
- Exposure to rough waters, weather conditions, and physical hazards
- Interaction with teams, clients, and subcontractors in dynamic settings
