Staff Accountant - Site at RecSol Recovery Solutions, LLC – Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Description:

Are you detail-driven, process-oriented, and energized by keeping financial operations accurate and on track?

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, payroll processing, and vendor management while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all financial functions. This role partners closely with the Business Manager and plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity within the organization.

What You’ll Do

Assist in maintaining recording and control procedures for financial transactions and reconciliations.

Process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.

Review invoices for accuracy, match to purchase orders, and ensure timely authorization and submission.

Facilitate new vendor setup and maintain accurate vendor records.

Support payroll processing, including weekly data entry, bi-weekly reconciliation, and tracking of hours, sick leave, and vacation balances.

Perform manual edits in timekeeping systems to correct employee hours and ensure payroll accuracy.

Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll inquiries professionally and promptly.

Assist with month-end close activities and submit required financial reports in a timely manner.

Help coordinate contract reporting and monitor compliance with contract terms.

Participate in physical inventory observations as needed.

Ensure full compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in payroll or accounts payable (required)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
