Job Description

DiY Media/Discmakers is a leading provider in short-run CD/DVD manufacturing for independent musicians and filmmakers, with over 75 years of industry experience. We seek a motivated, energetic, and focused individual to operate paper and board finishing equipment efficiently during our morning shift. If you are eager to learn how to operate a UV Coater, Die Cutter, or Fold Gluer, we want to hear from you.

Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM (training period: 6 AM to 2 PM). This is a 5-day, 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring job quality and performing regular quality checks.
• Preparing the machine for operation, including the glue system.
• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on the machine and the surrounding area.
• Adhering to plant and finishing department rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Superior interpersonal skills a must

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience operating a BOBST or Heidelberg Gluer/ Folder is a plus
• Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus

Physical Demands

• Standing for extended periods of time, up to 100% of your working hours
• The work involves extended periods of repetitive motion
• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, gripping, and carrying up to 45 lbs
