Maintenance Technician I at Harborview Center, LLC – Long Beach, California

Position Description:

Were looking for a Maintenance Technician I to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our facility. In this role, youll gain experience across multiple tradesincluding plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and morewhile working in a supportive environment that values teamwork and continuous improvement.

What Youll Do

Perform routine inspections of facility equipment and systems to identify maintenance needs. Service heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems, troubleshooting and repairing issues as they arise. Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Complete assigned work orders, including preventive maintenance tasks, and respond to after-hours emergencies when on call. Document maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent in the work order system for accurate record-keeping. Test and calibrate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. Stay up to date on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety regulations through ongoing training. What Were Looking For
