PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE in our Shelton Location*
The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT is a highly passionate and skilled multidisciplinary team seeking a dynamic, talented, and fun-loving ABA therapist to join our pediatric-focused ABA Clinic.
RBT/BT’s Responsibilities:
• Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format
• Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
• Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.
• Accurately collect data specific to the client’s Behavior Support Plan & Skill Acquisition Programming
• Maintain detailed records of client progress and services performed
• Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc. : this should be changed to, use electronic medical system to collect data, and track client progress
• Completes timely and thorough session notes as expected
• Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
• Collaborate with professionals on the client’s treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.
• Participate in initial and ongoing staff trainings as assigned, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement
• Reports changes in client condition to supervisor
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.), when needed
• Actively participates in supervision with the BCBA
• Participates in both individual and group supervision
• Functions and/or provides services with an awareness, sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences, similarities, and abilities
• Provide high quality customer service
Qualifications/Requirements:
• High school Diploma or higher education
• Experience working with children (required)
• Previous ABA experience (preferred)
• Previous in-home and/or clinic based experience (preferred)
