AS NEEDED (PRN) POSITION

JOB SUMMARY

The Transporter is a functional position accountable to the basic standards of practice for transporters. The transporter assists in the transporting of patients throughout the hospital. Responds to all codes. Secures appropriate equipment when asked. Orients new personnel in accordance with performance standards. Participates as a member of the patient care team, taking into consideration the needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma Must be 18 years of age

• Less than 2 years Required

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
