LPC or LCSW - Behavioral Assessment Team Member at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a LPC or LCSW to join our Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT) at Bolivar Family Care Center in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: CMH's Behavioral Health Department focuses on treating the “whole” person, not just the parts. CMH's behavioral health team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors and licensed clinical social workers offering services in a variety of settings. Conditions treated include dementia, depression, addiction recovery, anxiety, and loss and grief, just to name a few.

A typical day will include: Conducting safety risk assessments to make appropriate recommendations and referrals for safety planning with patients and/or caregivers.

• Review patient charts and consult the on-staff physicians regarding clinical concerns
• Meet face-to-face with patients to conduct diagnostic assessments to include crisis evaluation using appropriate risk assessment measures
• Provide resource referrals
• Document appropriate information with accuracy

This position is: On-call - PRN nights, required to present within an hour of call.

Job Requirements:

• Education: A Masters Degree in Social Work or Masters/Doctorate in Psychology is required
• Experience: 1-3 years of behavioral health or substance abuse counseling is required (may include pre-degree practicum)
• Skills: Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication, time-management
• Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist is required. We are unable to consider PLPCs at this time.
