LCSW, LPC - Behavioral Assessment Team Member in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri is hiring a LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist for our Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT) at the Bolivar Family Care Center in Bolivar, MO — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: PRN-On Call
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: 7:30am - 7pm - required to present within an hour of call

What Your Day Looks Like: In this role, you will conduct safety risk assessments to make appropriate recommendations and referrals for safety planning with patients and/or caregivers.

You will be:

• Reviewing patient charts and consulting the on-staff physicians regarding clinical concerns
• Completing a behavioral assessment to aid in the development of the treatment plan and disposition of the patient
• Providing education and instruction to patients and caregivers regarding continuing care plans
• Providing resource referrals
• Documenting appropriate information with accuracy

Qualifications

• Education: MSW from a CSWE accredited Social Work program, or a Masters/Doctorate Degree in Psychology
• Experience: 1-3 years of behavioral health or substance abuse counseling (may include pre-degree practicum)
• Skills: Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication, time-management, organization
• Licensure/Certification: LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist. We are unable to consider PLPCs at this time.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods of time
