Production Manager in Florida, New York at Quality Roofing Solutions LLC

Position Overview:

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of residential shingle roofing production. This position ensures projects are completed on time, to the highest quality standards, and with exceptional customer satisfaction. The role focuses on managing customer communication throughout the production process and effectively coordinating field personnel ("assets") to maximize productivity and operational efficiency. The Production Manager is a critical leader in maintaining Quality Roofing’s reputation for excellence while driving team success and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs) to execute project scopes, ensuring commitments are met with excellence.
• Ensure projects are staffed appropriately, and resources are allocated efficiently.
• Develop and maintain processes that ensure customers are informed before, during, and after production.
• Oversee proper use of the CRM (AccuLynx) to align with established Business Processes and Procedures, identifying opportunities to simplify and enhance workflows for efficiency and profitability.
• Increase project completion rates while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Customer Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
• Oversee and refine customer communication processes to keep clients informed before, during, and after work is performed.
• Collaborate with Remote Operations Coordinators and field QARs to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Production Management and Oversight:

• Coordinate field assets, QARs, and crews ensuring they are well-supported with resources and guidance as well as address any challenges promptly to minimize delays to project completion.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of Change Orders with Customers and proper documentation in Acculynx.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Team to guarantee the timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Confirm all Labor Tickets are correct base4d on project scopes, estimates, and Change Orders for an accurate and timely Sub-Contractor payout.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure projects meet company standards and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections at various stages of production to identify and address defects or deviations.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to refine quality control processes.

Asset Management (Field Personnel Coordination)

• Manage field personnel assignments, optimizing resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Serve as the "quarterback" of field operations, ensuring field QARs and crews are effectively deployed based on job demands.
• Regularly track job progress and field productivity to ensure the efficiency in all processes.
• Support field QARs and crews in resolving on-site challenges promptly and effectively.

Team Collaboration and Cohesion:

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication among all team members.
• Support a culture of mutual respect and trust, ensuring alignment with the company's CORE Values, especially "Thriving Together."
• Facilitate conflict resolution and address any issues within the production team to promote harmony and productivity.

Working Hours:

Generally, Monday through Friday, 7am until 5pm.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to roofing and construction activities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
