Description:

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all WlOA team services are provided in compliance with the contract with Philadelphia Works and WIOA regulations

• Ensure that all services are provided in a trauma-informed manner

• Plan and oversee daily WIOA related activities of the CareerLink

• Assist with interviewing. hiring, training, and supervision of all WIOA staff

• Provide direct supervision of WIOA team members, schedule regular meetings of WIOA team members to review performance. Plan activities, and obtain input from staff

• Assist WIOA Workforce Advisors to develop case management plans for their customers and follow through to achieve customer goals

• Review and verify WIOA program performance data and compare to contract goals to ensure success of the program

• Develop and implement corrective actions when services are not meeting contract goals or requirements

• Review customer files and electronic forms on a periodic basis to ensure that tiles are maintained in compliance with contract requirements

• Complete reports and submit to CLA, funding sources, and other stakeholders as required

• Forecast potential problem areas and implement preventive measures to ensure that problems do not occur

• Inform CLA of existing/potential problems immediately

• Attend CareerLink management meetings as scheduled

• Assist with direct services as needed

• Other task as assigned

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Human Services or an Associate Degree with four years of experience (10 years' experience if no degree)

• Minimum of three years of experience in management or supervisory positions with WIOA programs or managing comparable services

• Strong knowledge of WIOA/WIOA requirements and services

• Strong management and supervisor skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Sound knowledge of Office computer software

• Sound knowledge of Philadelphia area, city agencies, and service system
